Road trip with the Boss

So I stayed over in Ohio this weekend since my boss was going to be in town. We both needed some time away so I suggested we go on a road trip. We decided to drive to Niagara Falls. I had never been there, and he hadn't been there in decades. We also both love to drive. We left on Saturday and drove along Lake Erie. I had made reservations at the Embassy Suites on the Canadian side of the river. When we got to the border, Bruce couldn't find his wallet. Also, starting this month the new law that requires you have proof of citizenship went into effect. So a drivers license isn't even enough. We got corralled into a Canadian immigration office and had to answer a ton of questions and then wait while they did a bunch of background checking, but they finally let us through. It was a trip trying to get back in the states too. Good thing Bruce had at least his PADI card with his birthdate on it. It was really cool place. I definitely want to go back. However, it was super cold. This morning when we woke up it was about 5 degrees with a ton of wind. We had planned on taking a bunch of pictures but it was just too cold. However, I was able to enjoy one other treat on the trip.

For those of you in Arizona, you may be familiar with Ted's Hot Dogs in Tempe. It's a landmark and I have been eating there with family and friends since the 80's. The story with Ted's is that the owner came out to Arizona and decided he wanted to live here. They have 8 locations in Buffalo, NY which is where it started a long time ago. So anyway, long story short, Bruce and I stopped at one of the locations and ate. I consider Ted's the "In-n-Out" of hot dogs. Bruce liked it. And we're lucky to have one in Arizona.

On our way home through Pennsylvania, we encountered complete white out driving conditions and I was scared to death. Luckily we made it home safely to our bachelor pad in Ohio.

You look like you guys are freezing! You are having some serious change in weather compared to AZ.
