Trip cut short

Well, Morrissey was great. He played at the Barn at Thanksgiving point. I had never been there before, but it's an incredibly small venue. At one point, Mike and I were right up against the stage. It was unreal. He was kind enough to treat us to several Smiths songs from the old school. Songs such as Shoplifters of the World, Stretch out and Wait, How Soon is Now, London, and Stop Me If you Think that You've Heard This One Before. About 10 minutes before he came on stage, I got a call from Jen telling me that Carli had hurt herself on the trampoline and couldn't move her leg. You can see my entry on our family blog (www.thetanners.com) for the rest of the story on that. I ended up having to cut my trip short today and come home early. I'm glad I was able to spend a little bit of time with Mike though. Mike and Amy's place in Utah is beautiful. I even told Amy I wished I could move up there. I think that may have thrown her into shock.

Sounds like a little heaven on earth for you there at Thanksgiving Point. I can't help think of you and Brian salivating over your shared love of music at Coronado.

Thanks for the suggestion about Google.

Still a bit bummed will miss you in Cozumel in a couple of weeks.
