Yellowstone Trip Day 3

Cold. That's the best way to describe today. We rode through both rain AND snow. We rode from Old Faithful around the East side of Yellowstone and up to Cody, Wyoming. We went to the Cody Firearms museum there. We had to go up over a mountain pass to get there and it started snowing on us towards the top. Once we were done with the museum, we were trying to decide whether we should just get a hotel in Cody or brave the cold and weather and try to make it closer back towards the Park. We decided to go for it. I'm including a picture from the trip we made after leaving Cody. We took a different route than the one we came. We are now in Cooke City, MT. I'm tired, sore, and cold. I'm going to bed. But by the way, you can see that I ended up putting a few pictures on my flickr page. Here's a few more from today.

Our first stop this morning was at this location where there were tons of Elk grazing around the geyser fields.

Do you see that windy road down in the valley? We had miles and miles of that on our way to Cook City. It was 34 degrees and raining.
